    All LickEase orders are handled by our trusted fulfillment partners.

    Processing Time

    Orders placed Monday–Friday before 2 PM PST begin processing the same business day.

    Orders placed after 2 PM PST or on weekends/holidays begin processing the next business day.

    Quality Inspection
    Every slow-feed mat is inspected for damage before shipment to ensure you receive it in perfect condition.

    Delivery Window: 9–12 business days from ship date

    Rate: $8.99 flat-rate (Canada & U.S.)

    Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $75 CAD or USD

    Expedited Shipping

    Delivery Window: 2–4 business days from ship date

    Rate: $18.99 flat-rate (Canada & U.S.)

    International Shipping

    Standard International: 12–20 business days, rate calculated at checkout

    Expedited International: 5–10 business days, rate calculated at checkout

    Carrier Partners

    Packages ship via Canada Post, USPS, UPS, or FedEx—automatically selected based on your address and chosen service level.

    3. Delivery Estimates

    All delivery windows begin from the date your order ships, not the date it’s placed.

    Peak Seasons & Delays
    During holidays or high-volume sales (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), transit times may extend by 2–5 business days. We’ll notify you of any known delays.

    5. Lost or Damaged Packages
    Lost in Transit


    If tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date.

    We’ll open a carrier claim and then send you a replacement or issue a refund once resolved.

    Damaged in Transit

    Inspect your shipment immediately. If the mat arrives broken or defective, email hello@lickease.store with:

    We’ll arrange a free replacement to be shipped out right away.

    Return and Refund

    1. Overview
    At LickEase, your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with your slow-feed mat—or if it arrives damaged or defective—here’s exactly how our returns, exchanges, and refunds work.

    2. Eligibility & Timeframe

    All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

    Condition Requirements

    Items must be returned clean, unused, and in their original packaging (including any inserts, labels, or stickers).

    Mats that show signs of chewing, deep scratches, or other misuse are not eligible for refund or exchange.

    3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

    Email hello@lickease.store within 30 days of delivery.

    In your message, include:

    Your order number

    A brief description of why you’re returning (e.g. “arrived cracked,” “decided to return unused item”)

    Photos if the mat arrived broken or defective

    Approval & Instructions

    We’ll review and respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) and next-steps.

    Do not ship your mat back until you receive your RA and return label (if prepaid).

    4. Return Shipping
    Prepaid Labels (Canada & U.S.)


    For defective or damaged-on-arrival items, we’ll email you a free pre-paid shipping label.

    Customer-Paid Returns

    For “change of mind” returns (unused mats), the customer covers return shipping costs.

    We recommend using a tracked service—LickEase is not responsible for lost packages.

    International Returns

    Defective items: we’ll provide instructions for low-cost carrier options.

    “Change of mind”: customer pays all shipping and duties.

    5. Restocking Fees & Deductions
    No restocking fee on defective or damaged items.

    For “change of mind” returns, we deduct a $5 CAD/USD handling fee from your refund to cover processing and inspection.

    6. Refund Process

    Once we receive your return, we inspect it to confirm eligibility.

    Approval

    If approved, we’ll issue your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days.

    Notification

    You’ll receive an email confirmation with the refund amount and expected processing time from your bank (typically 3–7 business days).

    7. Exchanges

    If you’d rather replace a defective mat than get a refund, let us know in your initial request.

    Once your defective mat is received, we’ll ship your replacement immediately, at no extra cost.

    8. Non-Returnable Items
    Mats showing obvious misuse (chew marks, pet nail punctures)

    9. Late or Missing Refunds
    If you haven’t received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, first check your bank or PayPal account.
